Skin Types
Caring for your skin in 3 steps
Besides care, during the day, your skin mainly needs protection. The night is the perfect time to nourish and restore the skin. In addition to your daily care routine, you can treat your skin to extra intensive stimulation.
1. Every morning
Wash your face with Pre Care cleansing foam or Pre Care cleansing milk. After this, restore the pH value of your skin with Pre Care lotion. Apply the Lanèche eye cream around your eyes. Lastly, apply the right day cream for your skin type and massage softly into the skin with rotating movements.
2. Every evening
Clean your eyes and lips with Pre Care eye make-up remover and then clean your face with Pre Care cleansing milk or Pre Care Cleansing foam. To restore the pH value of your skin, apply Pre Care Lotion around the eyes. Lastly, apply the right night care, possibly in combination with a Special Care Serum for your skin type and massage softly into the skin with rotating movements.
3. Once per week
Clean your eyes and lips with Pre Care eye make-up remover and then clean your face with Pre Care cleansing milk. Then, depending on your skin type, scrub the skin with Pre Care facial scrub or Pre Care facial peeling to remove dead skin cells. After this, restore the pH level of your skin with Pre Care lotion. The skin is now optimally prepared to absorb active substances. First, apply a Special Care Serum and then spread a Special Care Mask on top. Allow 15 minutes to work in and then remove with lukewarm water. Pay special attention to the zone around your eyes with the Q10 Nutri Lift Tightening eye cream or the Eye lift Replenishing eye cream. Finish your special pampering treatment by applying the day cream or night cream and massaging it softly into the skin with rotating movements. For some skin types, the specific details of skincare at home can deviate from the treatments described above.

Dry and Dehydrated Skin
Does your skin feel dry and tight?
Characteristics of dry skin
-
The skin is often thin.
-
Fine, barely visible pores. Low production of sebum.
-
Fine lines and wrinkles start to form easily.
-
The skin feels tight and rough.
Dry skin is an indication that the skin barrier is damaged. Dry skin is unable to regulate its moisture content as effectively as normal skin due to a lack of oil production. As a result, moisture can penetrate the skin more easily, causing the moisture balance to become disrupted and the skin to dry out. Dry skin also tends to be red, irritated and scaly.

Oily Skin
Does your skin start to shine easily?
Characteristics of oily skin
-
The skin easily starts to shine, especially on your nose, chin and forehead, the so-called T zone.
-
This skin has clearly visible and/or dilated pores in the T zone.
-
The skin may have more comedones and/or infections in the T zone.
People with oily skin often have a shine on their face, especially on their nose, chin and forehead, the so-called T zone. The pores are enlarged, typically in the T zone, and the sebaceous glands produce more oil than usual. This can cause pores to clog, resulting in blackheads. Oily skin is also characterised by sudden breakouts of pimples. The complexion is often pale and pallid. There is one big advantage of oily skin. Oily skin tends to age better and develop fewer wrinkles than dry or normal skin. It is important to use mild cleansing products to moisturise and balance oily skin.

Sensitive Skin
Is your skin sensitive to specific external factors?
Characteristics of sensitive skin
-
The skin is thin and has a fine structure.
-
The skin is sensitive to climate influences (sun, wind and cold), but also to soap and alcohol.
-
Skin reactions include tightness, redness, itching, burning, tingling, scaling and/or dry skin
Sensitive skin reacts quickly to external influences. This can cause the skin to feel tight or dry. Sensitive skin can also have a scaly, patchy or red appearance. Sensitive skin is easily affected by weather changes, such as wind and cold.
To reduce the impact of external influences, sensitive skin requires moisturising and protective care.

Pale Skin
Does your skin lack a radiant complexion?
Characteristics of pale skin
-
The skin looks slightly dull or pale.
-
The epidermis is thinner.
-
As a result of moisture loss, the skin loses its firmness and starts to slacken.
-
The skin can feel tight due to its reduced ability to bind moisture.
Pale skin is an indication that the skin is showing signs of deficiency. Deficiencies can be caused by stress or unhealthy living conditions, such as dehydration due to air conditioning. Depending on the cause of the deficiency, skincare treatments and products should be selected to match the skin type and address the deficiency.

Skin Ageing (Early Stage)
Is your skin showing the first signs of ageing?
Characteristics of early signs of ageing
The first signs of skin ageing become visible after the age of 25. This is when the first fine lines appear on the skin surface. As people get older, the structure of the skin becomes slacker, and wrinkles start to form.
Skin ageing is the result of various processes. Not all these processes can be influenced or prevented. However, it is possible to control skin ageing to a certain extent. A healthy diet and good skincare are important factors in this respect.
The Lanèche Collagen Booster line gives the skin an impulse with vitamins, pro-vitamins and plant-based deep-working micro collagen. The skin is not only nourished but also stimulated to start producing its collagen again.

Mature Skin
Does your skin have fine lines and wrinkles?
Characteristics of mature skin
-
The skin is visibly losing firmness and elasticity.
-
The skin is dry due to its inability to bind moisture.
-
The skin has visible wrinkle and fine lines.
Mature skin is the result of damage due to ageing. The skin becomes dryer, thinner, and wrinkles appear more quickly. It is hard to pinpoint exactly when the skin is considered mature. There is no fixed age for this. The rate at which skin ages depends on many factors, including skin condition, lifestyle and skincare choices, which can vary greatly from one person to the next. Ageing is an inevitable fact of life that must be accepted. We generally speak of mature skin from the age of 35-40 onwards.

Saggy Skin
Is your skin losing its firmness and elasticity?
Characteristics of saggy skin
-
The skin is visibly losing firmness and elasticity.
-
The skin around the jawline is sagging.
-
The skin on the neckline and hands is also losing firmness.
-
The skin is dry due to its inability to bind moisture.
As we age, people start to produce less collagen and elastin. As a result, the skin loses firmness and elasticity and becomes slacker. With the loss of collagen and elastin, the contours of the face and body become less defined. This is a natural and unavoidable process. Skin ageing (loss of collagen) depends on various factors, such as diet, genetics and lifestyle habits, such as sun exposure and smoking.
